→ Richard Haw repaired the non-existing Nikon Ai AF Zoom Nikkor 28-80mm f/2.8D ED (IF) – that lens was never officially announced (prototype lens?) and was recently listed for sale in Japan.

→ CP+ presentation on Asian ILCs market and post 2008 impacts of smartphones on the photographic industry:

“Since 2008/9, the smartphone has captured most of the under 40s cohort who might have bought ILC previously. Ultimately, a notable proportion of those who started photography using their smartphone (ie a high %age must have been under 40s when taking 1st images) “age” into an ILC.
