Update on the Z8 separated/broken strap lugs: Nikon is aware of the issue

One of the photographers who reported the Nikon Z8 separated/broken strap lugs sent me an update – apparently Nikon is aware of this issue and they will check all Z8 cameras when they are sent in for the recent recall:

“I wanted to give an update on this case. As you quoted my post on it on the Z8 group. My local Nikon distributor in the Netherlands has admitted Nikon is aware of this error and intended to check the recalled models on this.”
