If you remember my rumored Nikon Z9 mirrorless camera specifications, I did mention that there will be a new Nikon EN-EL18x battery. Nokishita just reported that Nikon recently registered a new, not-yet-released, EN-EL18d battery in Russia and my guess is that this will be the battery used in the upcoming Z9 professional mirrorless camera. Stay tuned for more details.
