Ricoh released a new firmware update version 2.0 for the Pentax K-3 III and K-3 III Monochrome cameras. Here are the changes from the previous version:
[Additional features]
- Added limited function [Grad ND Shooting].
- * A special activation key (release key) obtained from a website or other source is required to activate the limited functions.
Note: The Grad ND Shooting activation key issuance is a service that will be launched first in Japan. the launch of this service outside of Japan has not yet been determined.
[Enhanced features]
- Added Type 3 to the item of the AF.C tracking AF point method.
- Added focus sensitivity setting item for AF.C.
- Added USER mode setting [BOX] write/read function.
[Others]
- Improved the number of consecutive frames when shooting with crop.
- Improved stability for general performance.
- * When this update is done, you will not be able to restore back to version 1.00.
Caution
- Only PENTAX K-3 Mark III Monochrome users are permitted to download the firmware update.
