Coming soon: Skyllaney & 35MMC collaboration pancake lens for Leica M-mount

35mmc and Skyllaney are working together on a new pancake lens for Leica M-mount that will be available in the next few months:

“This is going to be a very high build quality m-mount pancake lens with a characterful wide angle optic rehoused from a compact camera. This is a lens I have personally wanted for myself for a while – it’s going to be a fairly niche-interest bit of kit… just how I like it! More details to follow, but since this will be a limited batch of ~25 lenses, if you’re interested, let me know ASAP and I’ll add you to the list.”

The new lens will be made of brass and screws (rather than aluminum and glue). The lens housing will be used for other future projects. Stay tuned for more details.
