The last "what to expect" post was pretty accurate, but I decided to update it with the latest Z50 rumors:
- The Nikon D6 is rumored to be officially announced in January 2020
- Nikon D850, D750 and D500/D7500 replacements still expected but no dates are set yet
- At least one new F-mount lens expected in 2020
- The Nikkor Z 70-200mm f/2.8 mirrorless lens should be announced next
- In the next 2-3 years, Nikon expects to have a pretty solid Z-mount product line (both full-frame and APS-C)
- High-megapixel 60MP Z camera and/or another fast Z camera expected in 2020-2021 (Nikon Z8?)
- Most of the registered cameras on this list will be announced in 2020
- More APS-Z cameras to be announced - one above (Z70?) and one below (Z30?) the current Z50
