I have been using Nikon D5300 Cameras since Minolta ended. Up to know it hasn't been an issue, but as my nieces and nephew get older and more involved in indoor activities it is becoming a problem. the issue is the red light that goes off prior to the camera taking a shot. I assume it is a meter or autofocus tool. My question is this, is there a way to shut it off? For instance, if I switch to full manual will it go away?
