MTF: measured or calculated?

Update - several readers noticed that Panasonic is fudging the LUMIX S lens MTF charts by using non-uniform X axis.

To an uninformed reader, the LUMIX S MTF charts may look flatter when comparing to MTF charts from others who use standard linear axis.

Here are the re-adjusted LUMIX S MTF charts to a standard linear axis.

Attached are the charts comparing to Panasonic’s and the re-adjusted ones (left is re-adjusted, right is Panasonic’s):
