Leica is already pushing the hashtag #filmisnotdead

Today Leica Camera sent out an email newsletter with only the hashtag #filmisnotdead in the subject line…

They even already have a new Leica film graphic (see above). Here is the enhanced view – clearly film-related:


It seems that we may really be getting close to the new Leica film camera announcement that has been rumored for a while.


The email sent by Leica today pointed to several dedicated film websites (click on the above screenshots for a bigger view):

• Analogue Photography
• There was also a link to the hashtag #leicafilmfriday
• I noticed an increase in film talk on the official Leica Twitter account:
