Well that’s good to know. I have not had the priviledge of trying M lenses on anything non-Leica but it bodes well for using them on the Panasonics, Sigmas and other brands as well as the new SL2 of course!

Question is, can a M lens handle a 40MP sensor. A dealer once told me that Leica have not inched past 24MP in order to preserve their M lenses.

From the drawings, the Nikon doesn't look much smaller than the SL. In reality it feels practically diminutive in comparison.
