LUMIX S1R crop settings

How can I use the S1R with a full frame lens and an APS-C crop setting, to extend the reach of my lenses. This would of course reduce the mp count to about 20 mp (similar to the cropping on a Leica Q2). I know that the camera automatically switches to APS-C with APS-C lenses. But how can I achieve this with a full frame lens?

You go into menu, then the cog, then, if i remember (sorry i don't have my camera in front of me), you choose the second camera symbol, then "Format" (for sensor size... i don't know, mine is in french).

Thanks for your response. I cannot find any setting for format sensor. Maybe this is different between S1 and S1R?

I would imagine it would work better than Sony since Sigma is part of the L alliance with open protocol, will be making Sigma camera for L mount, modified L mount for DSLR mount support, and lens manufacturers. They have extensive knowledge of the L mount to make sure their lens is compatible.
