Here are the latest/updated rumors on the upcoming Leica SL3 camera:
- The Leica SL3 will use the same 60MP sensor as the M11/Q3
- There will be a new body that is only a bit smaller than the current SL2
- 6.5 stops image stabilization
- Phase detection AF
- 9fps continuous shooting I was told that the initially reported 9fps are not correct
- Supports cropped 8K/30p and 4K/60p + full-frame & S35 C4K/30p
- The camera is already being tested in the field
- Announcement expected on March 7 (±1 day)
- SD Card and CF Express Type B memory cards
- IP54 sealed: IP54 is a rating that indicates a product is protected from limited dust and water spray
- OLED EVF
- Content Authentication just like the M11-P
- Price under €8,000
